Man do Waldman and Sterling suck. If possible they have become even worse than last year. Listened for about an inning and then could not take it any longer . Switched over to the XM fed. Usually its the home team announcers but today XM must have picked up ESPN radio feed. Steve Phillips was the color guy but not sure who was doing play by play. Anyhow it once again made me realize how bad Yankee fans lost out by not having quality radio people.

 

Boom, thanks for bumping this epic thread back to the front. Re-reading all 13 pages has made my Sunday great joy and fun. It's still hysterical and funny.

What about Little Stein? Does he have any say in who is in the radio booth, or is that a topic that he has no say so in due to George?

 

Don't know. But would think he would. Abject, servile, blind loyalty to pinstripes is a requirement for the job.
