The day before classes start, they have a service dedicating a memorial. About two miles from campus, there's an apparent gas leak in an apartment complex that's left some in bad shape.

Last year there was a real bad one up the road at Roanoke College. What the hell is up with the pipes there?

It's been a tough, tough year for Tech.

I have CO2 sensors in my house now. Shouldn't they be as commonplace as smoke detectors?

My bad. Carbon monoxide is what I was thinking about when I typed that.
