I don't watch this show, but I might tune in for five minutes for Mike.

There is a definite eye candy upgrade from the last season - but it seems like half the cast is from Southern California.

That's always the case, at least the last few years.

I think the majority of Survivor's contestants are recruited, and I bet a lot of the CBS workers doing the recruiting are in SoCal.

After an NFL legend in Jimmy Johnson, they've got two "oh, he was in the NFL?" guys this season.

    Grant Mattos

I stopped watching after Jimmy Johnson got booted last season, not because the show was bad, but more because I got so used to watching it on Thursday that by the time I would get around to it on the DVR I already knew who had been booted.

I may watch this season. It sounds interesting.

Persistent rumors that Boston Rob and Russell are the two returning players, each leading a team. That could be interesting.

I think it will definitely be two men, because there are nine women and seven men right now.

You can't have them as regular players. There has to be more to it than that. Otherwise, they'd be gone almost immediately and you know CBS doesn't want that.
