my problem with this survey, and the speech of some righties, is that by using just muslims to classify terrorists, it generalizes the person involved and makes it seem like a war on the religion itself.

that is why it is important to say radical extremists. you have to differentiate when talking about a subject like this.

otherwise, it's just like saying to stop gang violence in LA (or another big city), you're going to arrest and interroagte all black people. it's absurd.

there is a way to go about a problem such as this, and by generalizing an entire religion and deeming them evil doesn't help anyone.

51 percent of all Americans also believe some absurd stuff:

Oh, Poin will pull out what will be around here forever known around here as "The Hondo Defense". (He was smart enought to remove his dumbass Cindy Sheehan thread)

It doesn't matter how stupid, ignorant, bogus or asinine any link you post is, just say, "It's just there for discussion. I'm not taking sides. I claim no responsibility for the links I throw up. Just because I post items that reference irrational anti-Muslim, anti Cindy Sheehan points of view, it doesn't mean I'm anti-Muslim. I'm chickenshit neutral"

You guys leave Dexter alone. He is doing us a favor.

It's far simpler, easier and less stressful to hate, fear and villify an entire religion than to have to sift through and hate just the crazies.

    1. Are you guys saying Poindexter made that entire survey up?
    2. How is posting the survey indicative of a hatred of Muslims?
    3. I notice that 35 percent of the respondents said there is no such thing as Al-Qaida (Question 12), but 75 percent of the respondents say Al Qaida is attacking the U.S. because of U.S. involvement in the Muslim world (No. 14). Which is it folks. Is there an Al Qaida or not.
    4. I would be interested in this follow-up question to the majority of respondents of Question 5 who said Muslims did not fly planes into the buildings on 9-11: "Who did, and why did they have all those Saudi passports?"

Apparently it's not politically correct to look at the common denominator involved in the terror attacks and hate of the entire country.

Perhaps hondo's questions can be answered by actually clicking on the link and reading the disclaimer stating that this is not a scientific survey, but in fact a form passed out at the annual convention of this organization and submitted voluntarily. That might explain the inconsistencies, which as hondo points out shows that the questions were not answered honestly in many cases.

The good thing is that this proves that Muslims are liars and we can't trust anything they say.

He didn't pull this survey off what you would call a right-wing web site. It came from the Islamic Society of North America national convention.
