    .... You see your fellow co-workers' pictures on the United Way brochures at the annual fundraiser/guilt trip that you're forced to go to.

    The way the industry is going, it's a good analogy in more ways than one. Kind of like shooting a horse.

    We have the vests, too. We were told it became Kansas state law on Jan. 1. It's supposed to let the authorities know we have a legit reason to be there and also if the incident is very close to a highway, for us to be more visible to motorists.
