Newton better be on a SB winning team someday or that non-dive is gonna follow him forever, despite it making almost no difference in the outcome.

    Great Super Bowl thread guys.

Thanks to Snark and JC for trolling me.

You guys are so much better than me.

    You win.

Yup, and Newton watching from his knees as the Broncos recover the ball is one of the visual images that will stick with you.

I'm still going to be thinking of the blown call on what should have been a catch by Cotchery in the first half. Instead of the Panthers driving, the Broncos get a defensive touchdown two plays later. Maybe that will finally get the league to do something about the rules regarding a catch.

I know 4th and 24 is basically a 2% chance of conversion. But punting? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY????????????

The only excuse I could understand from Newton for not jumping on that fumble was one of his teammates looked like he was close to recovering the ball and he didn't want to mess up the teammate's chances.

Other than that, who knows? I'm interested in hearing his answer when he's asked that at the press conference.

The master pitchman gets in a plug for Bud during the postgame interview. Perfect.

    Cut that meat!
