    I'm actually really liking Usher as a coach. Shakira seems fine enough, but I don't think I get her.

    Their show airs on Wednesday nights. It's not like they can just flip on over to Nashville. Plus, Leno and Fallen have people from other networks on their shows all the dang time.

    They're on a show on another network. It doesn't mean NBC has to mention that. Connie Britton used to be on Friday Night Lights and Panettiere started on Heroes. They can just refer to them that way.

    Wildcard entry: One of Roger Goodell's favorite band is the Dave Matthews Band.

    Though I'm not sure how a 22-minute long intro song would go over with the public.
