Digging Bacardi's new peach rum. Peach-flavored alcohols are made of win.

That's very similar to my, ahem, "pink frou-frou" drink on the Vegas trip.

  6. Back in my married days, the former Mrs. LSS and I threw a pretty wicked Halloween party (and I base this on the fact that people flew in from across the country to attend). Anyway, about two weeks before the party we would buy the biggest honkin' jar of maraschino cherries we could find, drained the juice from the jar, and then filled it with Everclear. At the party we just set the jar out and let the fiends help themselves.

My drink of choice lately has been Crown Royal and ginger beer mixed with a cinnamon stick.

A local bar also recently started serving a drink called the YooHoo YeeHa. It's a White Russian with YooHoo instead of half & half.

Non-alcohol-wise I buy those Lipton green and white tea mixes that you pour into bottled water. The "Citrus Green Tea" and "Apple-Cranberry White Tea" are my faves.

Amen. When you get the right mix -- a good, tart lemonade with strong unsweetened ice tea -- an Arnie is easily the best non-alcoholic drink on a hot day.

I'm a girl. If I tell you I like beer, and if I get my friends IJAG and SC to tell you they like beer (even though they may not), will you stop drinking beer?

How could a drink popularized by Ernest Hemingway be 'girly'? Aye me!

    The legendary Flash Light ...

    1 oz. of vodka
1 oz. of raspberry Sour Puss
a splash of Minute Maid Berry Blend

I adore beer, esp. Western mircobrews. None of that crappy beer with fruit for me.
