I really think there's a movie idea out there that involves Somali pirates boarding a ship infested with zombies. George Romero, are you listening?

 

Let this be a message to all pirates.

You may hijack our container ships full of barrels of oil and other items, but stay away from our all-you-can-eat buffets.

 

Or this movie:
Somali pirates attack a cruise ship. The captain and passengers are all rounded up -- except for a small, ragtag band of high school students who are on their senior trip from the Regis School. Under the guidance of their history teacher, Billy Tepper, and his mentor Lou Gossett Jr., they fight back and retake the cruise ship.

Seems like a few boats armed with hand-held RPG launchers would put a serious crimp in the pirate business.

 

What about the Somali pirates who hijack a Navy warship, easily subduing its crew.....but they forgot about the cook and the NYPD officer. We'll call it "Hard to Die Under Siege."

 

How about the one where, just as the Somali pirates take over the ship, a huge wave capsizes it and they all have to climb up to the bottom?

 

Gene Hackman thinks that's a shitty idea.
