Study links being 'born again' with brain atrophy

I've been called out on this thread by two people who know me in real life, but I promised myself I wouldn't cry. Trying to hold it together ... Fighting back the wave of emotions ...

 

Well, for instance, I don't feel the need to defend Republicanism, or Conservatism, when it turns out some Republican or Conservative is racist, or homophobic.

I don't believe they represent me, or my values.

Well, there is a well-known and well-liked (by me as well...) person on this board who has repeatedly said that anyone who is a republican has something wrong with them, although I don't think it was put that nicely.

Nobody currently on this board is even remotely close to Spinning27. Not even close.

We also had a former poster say during the 2008 election that anyone who doesn't vote for Obama is a racist. Hell, I was so embarrassed at some of the shit I posted during the 2008 election that I went through one day and deleted the majority of the posts. It took the bulk of the day to do it.

Let's just avoid sweeping generalizations on both sides and all try to get along...

I understand the reference, but there's a line between funny (what MM said) and creepy (what you said).
