Unlike the majority on this board, I really enjoy Stuart Scott.

    Get well soon, Stu.

I hope for nothing but the best for Mr. Scott. Amazing how an emergency appendectomy may turn out to save his life.

He probably thought it was a major inconvenience and bummer at the time.

Reminiscent of the cameraman or photographer who got leveled and knocked unconscious by Tony Gonzalez. Guy went to the hospital to get checked out as a precaution and it was discovered he had a brain tumor. No idea how he has fared since then.

I loathe his schtick but I hope Stu gets better soon.

Good luck to the guy with a cold side to his pillow.
This time I will hate the game, not the player.
    Get well, Stu

Never a fan of some of his schtick, but even this knocked me for a loop, on top of Duke Vitale shutting it down for about a month with his throat.

Get well Stu-yah boo-yah. Walton and Co. will hold down the fort.

    Get well, Stu.

No one deserves this, especially at a young age.

Not to sound like a homer, but he's very lucky he had the appendectomy in the hospital he did in Pittsburgh.
He'll be around a long, long time because of it.

Hospitals in the Pittsburgh area are very acquainted with cancer thanks to the working and living conditions of most of the residents pre-1980.

Also similar to Jon Lester finding out he had cancer after being in a car accident.

That headshot of Scott is not very flattering.

I remember Stuart Scott's days as a cub reporter at WRAL-TV in Raleigh.

He enjoys his gig, though his schtick can be trying. Still, get well Stuart and Keep Pounding.

Hey, Scott is 1000X better than A. Smith.

    Get well soon.
