Stringer/Part-time for H.S. Sports Beat in Prosper, Tx.

I'm looking for a community-minded sports writer to take over and make the local sports beat his or her own. Tuesday and Friday night coverage is a must but is virtually the only "must" to this job, other than the fact that the potential candidate must know sports and be reliable and professional.

This position is very part-time. The pay won't make you rich but this is a good sports town and a great opportunity for the right person as it is a one-school town. The job presents the opportunity for a good reporter to dig in and really get to know coaches and players and enjoy the postseason on a regular basis. Additionally, this is for a weekly publication so there is just one deadline per week.
