Stride gum

Seen the commercials, figured it couldn't possibly REALLY hold flavor that long.

I bought some, popped a piece last night (about the size of a piece of Trident), and it still had flavor an hour later. I've chewed two pieces, and threw both out before they lost flavor.

    Fantabulous, and no sugar.

    I'm sold!

    Anyone else tried it?

The flavor lasted longer than others but unfortunately I wasn't too thrilled about the actual flavor itself.

The peppermint was good, to me. That's the only kind I've tried so far.

Never tried it but I immediately went to their web site. I like the letter from the company head, and the way the guy peeks under the blinds.

Never went to the Web site before. But I could watch this outtakes video of this guy dancing all around the world on continuous loop.

So you're saying the flavor lasts longer than this gum?

Ha, Fruit Stripe was the greatest gum ever -- for about 14 seconds.

I remember putting three or four strips of that gum into a stack and chewing it all at once.

(I should remember...it only happened six days ago.)

Was that the gum you could chew the wrapper with the gum and it would disintegrate?

Never mind, I think that was Cinnaburst.

And I want to know what genius in the tobacco industry came up with this stuff.
Tobacco Exec 1: "Sure, we market to kids, but we need a more surefire way to hook them on the variety of our products."
Tobacco Exec 2: "How about gum that's exactly like chewing tobacco?"
    Exec 1: "Gum that's like chewing tobacco...Brilliant!"
