OMG it's spreading. Brandon Webb of the D-Backs was shut down the other day b/c he couldn't get loose.

Perhaps if he knew the arm was a muscle that needs to be worked like any other muscle, he would not have pitched just six innings and undergone major shoulder surgery since the start of the 2009 season.

My point is your talking out your ass. You would not have been able to come up with some detailed reasons all you can come with is "the arm is a muscle". Thanks Doc.

Heaven forbid Stephen Strasburg ever get depressed. Then you'll really see Dr. Hondo at his "best."

Love that Jim Bunning is the politico pissed off about this. Just perfect, for people who have been on this board for years.

Know what? You're not my fucking editor. I try to be brief with the posts. The reasons were detailed enough: pitching coaches and managers are now under-working their guys as much as over-working.
    Beyond that, bleep you.

Kerry Wood is touched by Jim Riggleman's concern for his rookie stud pitcher's arm problems.

Strasburg leaves with an elbow injury. If only he knew the arm is a muscle.

Another victory for Drs. Hondo and Bunning. LOL.

As a Cubs fan who lived with this for Mark Prior, my sympathy goes out to Nats fans.

Prior was abused by Dusty Baker.
This kid has been wrapped in a baby blanket.
    Not the same thing.

Before going home for a MRI, Strasburg threw today without pain. Riggelman says he'll probably miss one start, Rizzo says he's waiting to see if he might not even miss one.

In other words, the Nats need him to pitch at home a few more timies this season so more than 10,000 people will show up.
They are in the process of fucking up this kid completely. First they baby him, now when they should err on the side of caution, Rizzo wants him on the mound. Freaking idiots.
