Strangest movie you've ever seen

If you want to figure out Barton Fink -- as much as it can be figured out -- just go out on the web and do a little reading.

The Coens had writer's block during another project and wrote Barton Fink as an excercise to try and get out of it.

The hotel probably represents a writer's mind, if that helps...

I can't believe I'm the first one saying this - Labryinth, complete with David Bowie in way-too-tight pants.

It's a 16-minute silent movie by Salvador Dali.
I saw it in a film class in college. Most fucked-up thing I've ever seen in my life.

    Did you mean 8MM?

  10. "Holy Mountain"
    "Forbidden Zone"

"Salo" might have made the list if it hadn't been so linear.

8MM is the only movie I've seen on this list, and it's effed up, totally.

I hear that UHF is now a cult classic of sorts.
