They;ll stuff the suitcase inside and wrap bungee cords around it to keep it intact

Not to rain on the parade, but ... to actually use this means that you're anticipating getting stranded. That alone seems like a rather ridiculous assumption.

I will say that there is a very nice Comfort Inn located near the Atlanta airport. (Although possibly not the Comfort Inn closest to the Atlanta airport.)

I suppose I'd have liked it a bit less if Delta hadn't paid for it.

    Not these days.

Talk to HC about her fabulous overnight adventure in the Newark airport trying to get to Toronto.

There's nothing like sleeping with your head down on a table in the food court.

Is there such a thing as a 'very nice' Comfort Inn?

Continental breakfast, no bugs, very comfortable bed, decent restaurants nearby, free WiFi, a plethora of free toiletries ... very nice.

    Certainly better than this place.

Me, personally, I look for hotels that advertise CLEAN ROOMS and FREE TV on the marquees :D

Sometimes, you just gotta settle for "Vacancy"

You've advanced since your "low hourly rates" days...

    You're telling me.

I'm just bummed that I can't find any more hotels that have the vibrating beds at .25 a pop.

The halcyon days of Clark W. Griswold are no more, I'm afraid...

Let's not forget the world-famous Avon Motel in beautiful downtown Scarborough

    And only $32.43 a night!
