I'm sorry...I forgot what the heck this thread was supposed to be about....

Marvin Lewis wouldn't have to apologize for his remarks and remarks like them -- which have at least some degree of validity and would spur a very good discussion about a very important subject matter -- and they'd be taken much more serious by the general public if the PC people would stop crying wolf and trying to make a federal crime out of every time one of the Imus's of the world says something stupid.

What drives me nuts is the "I apologize if I offended anybody". So if Imus says his remarks and nobody is insulted, it's OK? If Allen Iverson makes his rap recording and nobody complained, he's less ignorant?

 

I'd say I'm sorry, but then I'd have to be sorry for feeling sorry, and that would be ... well ... yes ... sorry.
