Woman killed in Florida by a sting ray.
It was easy to dismiss this when Steve Irwin got killed. Sure, it was tragic. But it was half a world away. Now, this is two in two years and this IS ON OUR OWN SHORES! Somebody get Congress on this now! Stop the rays before they kill again!

Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. You're standing in a boat minding your own business, and a refrigerator jumps out of the water and lands on top of you.

 

As I said when Irwin croaked......if you don't want to die by getting stung by a sting ray, stay the fuck away from sting rays.

 

Well, it appears in this instance, the ray just happened to jump out of the water and hit the boat. It's not like she provoked it.

By your logic, we should stay out of our cars, lest we get hit by a passing deer.
