I'm shocked nobody has suggested Roethlisberger hired those girls to fake the injury attack, so he could heroically take the field afterwards.

What a shock: Go to ESPN.com at this moment (11:02 EST) and try to find a story on the latest Ben escapades.

Sports Center did a very short piece on it earlier today.
It seemed to me to sweep it under the rug a little though. I would think that a multiple Super Bowl winning quarterback being publicly accused of rape by two women would be a bigger story than it is.
My question is, why do you think he hasn't been arrested yet?
If I was accused of following a drunk college girl into a nightclub bathroom and raping her, whether the accusations are credible or not, I have to think I would at least be in jail at this point. Even a rich athlete like Mike Tyson was arrested pretty soon after the allegations against him were made. (And I have to say, the case against Tyson seems a tad more fishy than the one against Rothelsberger, since this accuser didn't go to a hotel room with him at three in the morning like Tyson's accuser did.)
Why isn't Rothelsberger in jail? Is it because he's fled the state? Has he lawyered up? Is it because he's a beloved quarterback? Is it because he's white?
Anyway, the lack of coverage this story is getting from the Worldwide Leader and other news sources is interesting, especially in comparison to the Tiger Woods case. More people care about football than golf. Adultery may be a tad unsavory, but it's not against the law. At least all of Tiger Woods's babes seemingly consented. Rape allegations are far more serious. It's amazing they're not getting more play.

or maybe there's not enough credible evidence.

He lawyers up, but he is allowed to leave the state.

Pretty interesting stuff here, but take it with a grain of salt.
