ESPN still "hasn't learned" of the report.

I wonder if this will lead the Pittsburgh news stations for the next month. ::)

ESPN probably waiting for "accused" to read "charged."

I would say the only reason people took the first one seriously - or gave it any credence at all -- is because of the way Ben Roethlisberger carries himself in public and particularly in night clubs and bars.

The first one wasn't a shock. This one isn't either.

And when he, because he has lots of money and good lawyers, gets out of this one, it won't be a shock the next time, either.

Yep. And the first one suddenly seems a tad more credible now that there's a second one. Appears big Ben might have some issues that come out when he's drunk and around women.

That was my point. Because there are two accusations, people are automatically going to judge both as more credible regardless of the actual merits of each case. The first one, from everything I have read, has no merit. The second one we really don't know yet.

At the very least, the guy is making some very bad choices off the field. Even if he didn't do anything wrong in either case, he certainly wasn't very smart about it.

Above the Adam's Apple, Big Ben will never be confused with Virgil Carter.
