Yoko Ono makes Captain Beefheart sound like Pavarotti.

Loan Me a Dime, Skydog and Scaggs.

So are we talking albums or singles? Used to enjoy figuring out my 5 "Desert Island Discs."

    Cash at San Quentin
    u2 - Joshua Tree
Herbie Hancock - A compilation (you get old jazz, new jazz, hip-hop, soul, R&B)
    Anything by Emmylou Harris
    Some Gershwin

Tigervols just beat a hipster record-store clerk and doesn't know why. :D

Fuck iTunes. I got like 4,000 songs on mp3 and they want me to buy them all again at 99c a shot. Fuck that shit.

    Sly & The Family Stone:

"I Want to Take You Higher" or "Everybody is a Star"

    ZZ Top:

"Sure Got Cold When the Rain Fell" or "Brown Sugar"

And to save Bubbler the time:

I looked for that a while back on iTunes. No go.

I really should get some Sinatra. I have a nephew who loves Ol' Blue Eyes. He also loves Creed. Go figure.

Maybe a Ray Charles greatest hits type album.

    Beatles 27.

    ACDC black album.

People here give it shit, but I prefer License to Ill over Paul's Botique.

If I ever have to start over, I'll have to rebuy Appetite for Destruction.

Allman Brothers Live at the Filmore East is a must, as is San Quentin as someone else mentioned.
