    Sports bar.

    I was a bartender in college and loved it.

    Booze is recession proof.

    . . . but saloons are a split-level world, under these kind of economic conditions.

    The weekends hold up, but the Sunday-Wednesday stretch is pretty damn ugly.

    True enough Ben.

    But I was in the business long enough — and still have two friends who own bars — to know you only need one or two "big nights" to make a living. Everything else is gravy.

    Bar/laundromat. people have to wash their clothes....its takes an hour and a half. what better reason to stay then pour your money into some beer?

    People turn to alcohol in times of crisis, and even sports. That is, if you're a Cubs' fan, of course.
