How do you lose both Vince Young and Jeff Fisher?

Wondered that too. Looks like I'm in the market for a new favorite team! Does anyone here root for the Steelers? I should support them!!!

Banks smoked everyone on this. Nothing on NFLN so far.

Addition by subtraction, in this Titans' fan's opinion.

VY received far more blame than he deserves, while the exact opposite was true for Fisher. That said, glad to see 'em both gone. Time to rebuild.

I just hope they'll let him keep that ridiculous pajama top he wore for the AFL throwback games last year.

He's bound to end up somewhere quickly. I don't see Fisher as the type of guy who'll take a TV gig while he mulls his next step.

Depends what his settlement is. If the Titans are paying him a flat fee to go away, then yeah. If they are paying him X million minus whatever his next team pays him, he may go the TV route for a year and get both paydays. That's why Gruden's still sitting out, isn't it?

Why wait this long after the end of their season to fire the guy?

The city of Nashville got a pair of pro sports teams in 1998, and this is its first coaching change. That's a run that will never be matched again in North America.
