Nope, can't stand the stuff either. Occassionally I'll have a chilled frappacino type drink from wawa (runner up to Sheetz) but otherwise if I need a pick me up, it's either caffeine, or lately sometimes an energy drink like Full Throttle.

Moddy - you lucky dog the Ipanema bourbon supply in my area has dried up.

The problem you will have now is that once its gone you have to wait till next spring before it appears again.

There is nothing like it out there. Only thing close is Green Mountain Harvard blend

Alright, now you've piqued my interest. What's so damn good about this Ipanema coffee? Just for kicks I'll probably have to hunt some down later.

I think it has something to do with a girl from there. The girl, from Ipanema........

    hahahaha.

Actually, I don't drink anything that's caffeinated -- no soda, tea or energy drinks. The only thing that I love that has caffeine is chocolate.

Four or five years ago, I went on a diet and exercise regimen and worked off 37 pounds. Then I had my virst encouter with Starbucks. They had just come out with the Caramel Frapaccino, so I tried one. Bad move, six months later I had gained 25 pounds back. I was hooked from the first day. I've come to joke with my Barista, (her name is Marlene, and she's quite fetching) that they've somehow managed to get an exemption from drug-pushing laws, they're so addictive. My CAR was addicted to the stuff. I couldn't drive by one without stopping and spending another $4 of my children's inheritance. I've gained all that weight back now. It just sapped my will to exercise.

I drink a cup of Peet's at home (which is fantastic), a cup of Starbuks in the mid-morning and a cup of Starbuck in the middle of the afternoon. That means that they gt $20 per work week from me, assuming that I'm not here on a weekend. Amazing.

i'm not a big starbucks fan, but maybe that's because i just like plain old coffee (i say that only because i note how everyone says they can't resist getting a triple-caramel whatever-the-fuck).

coffee's an easy place to save cash by making it at home. you can even get super-fancy delicious coffee, and it's still cheap as shit by comparison when you brew it yourself.
