    Here's one HB and spnited should like. A couple of folks I spoke to in Port St. Lucie have said Pedro Martinez is looking outstanding thus far this spring. I realize it's awfully early but with Pedro and Santana, the Mets will be hard to beat in the NL East.

    Unless ...

    I note Brad Lidge has re-injured his knee. It's like being a kid again, it's not even March and the Phillies are already screwed.

    Just another reminder that even with the new GM, they are still the worst-run franchise in baseball and it ain't even close.

    I think it's too soon to tell. Wait until the season is under way and he has to deal with the day-to-day, on-and-off field aspects of managing in New York.
