So ESPN is trying to make the point that Michigan State going to Bradley is a big deal. Even got a quote from Izzo saying, "This is the biggest thing to hit Peoria in 10 years." Which ain't true since they picked up the IHSA basketball tournament, but I digress.

Anyway ... they break out the U.S. map to show where Peoria is ...

and the bull's-eye hits just north of Indianapolis. Indiana.

    Idiots.

Everyone knows where Peoria is.. You travel East/West until you see the Terry Boers belly, then go south until you see the glare off Gary Childs head...

I am so going to hell for that....

Hard to believe how often I hit the mute button now when I'm watching ESPN.

They usually have the video I need to see, thanks. But they astound me with the breathless spew they throw at me, thinking I'll be suckering up for more of that shit.

ESPN is too much image and flash now. I'd rather have more news, less flash.

Whenever Chris Berman is on, the mute button soon follows. If I knew when Linda Cohn was going to cackle, I'd hit the mute button just before she lets one out.

MSU coming to Bradley was made into a pretty big deal here ... Seriously, we put 11,597 or so people in our gym, a record attendance, and it was by far the best atmosphere we've had in a long, long time.

That said, ESPN proved its bushleaguery (and its need for fact checkers) with the Wally World comment.
