    Description:

    The West Central Tribune, Willmar, Minn., is looking for a talent multimedia journalist to join its four-person sports department and play a major role in its prep sports coverage. This position needs the right journalist to cover and report on a prep sports scene rich in history, rivalry, passion and successful programs.



    High school sports are prominent in the West Central Tribune and its Wctrib.com website, which focus on games and features throughout west central Minnesota. We also cover Ridgewater College athletics as well as franchises in Northwoods League baseball and a semi-pro football league.



    Candidates should have prior sports writing experience, social-media abilities, Indesign skills, and photo and video abilities. College graduates with experience will be considered. Professional experience is beneficial.

    Kelly Boldan and sports editor Tom Larson are both great guys and would be fine supervisors. I was going to go there until a different opportunity presented itself in recent weeks.
