Sports Writer, Twin Falls, Idaho

The Times-News in southern Idaho seeks a talented sports journalist to complete a four-person staff. One of our longtime sports writers did such a great job hunting down the news on our local sports scene that he's been promoted to our news desk. The right person will be able to find the news on the local sports beats as well as write features, columns and game stories. We place a high value on writing about the people who make the games so interesting. Applicants should have sports writing experience and a bachelor’s degree.

Twin Falls is home to the College of Southern Idaho, one of the nation’s elite junior college programs. Our region has more than 30 high schools and offers an array of outdoor opportunities. We are just two hours from Boise and BSU football is big here as well.
