Tired of hearing how colleges coaches are great leaders and makers of men. The best of them are pimps. Boeheim is the most sanctioned coach college history in term of vacated loses, it needs to be said every time his team plays.

The corallary is when college players screw up off the court - then they are "kids."

First one I ever heard use GOAT to mean greatest of all time was Maurice Greene. I believe he had it tattooed on his arm.

One thin MMA has going for it is there's not the alphabet soup and turf wars one sees in boxing.

Would you ever get tired of this sport? Think it's called Human Roomba.

Perhaps that's true. But one thing these despicable bloodsports have in common with WWE is the marketing and the characters. There's a competitor in a perpetually promoted event tonight known as Cowboy. Not a nickname. A brand name. Once it devolves into that level of promotion and outward presentation, you have to wonder if it's fixed. If they create or permit a brand that seems to have taken off, they can't allow that brand to fade away organically. If it needs help, it will get help.

Every two-bit company has a Cowboy wrestling or fighting for them.

Cowboy vs. MacGregor is kind of a wild change of pace for UFC in terms of promotion. MacGregor usually just tries to turn it into a race war leading up to the fight. He seems to be at a loss this time.

I was stunned to see Cowboy will take home a grand total of about $400k (that's IF he wins).
