After Jauss, Telander, Ben (Goldberg) Bentley, and Bill Gleason . . .
anything that comes after is pure, unadulterated dross.

And we thank Loopy and the Dwarf for being so, so helpful in making it so.

During my first semester in college, my roommate and I had a rabbit ears TV. So I'd roll out of bed every Sunday morning at 9:30 (I think) and take the elevator upstairs to watch Sports Reporters. Just like you, I couldn't imagine missing a word. And I was completely awake for it, no matter how little sleep I got the night before.

I can't even comprehend that now. I think the last time I watched it I was in a hotel with limited cable and there was nothing but informercials and TSR on at 4:30 am.

    What a shame.

The only good show on ESPN is Around the Horn.

Either you meant to say Outside the Lines or you forgot the blue font.

Outside the Lines has its quality moments, so it's the best news show on ESPN.

But the best entertainment value is Around the Horn, and no other show is within a mile.

Hanging curveball, but a well needed swing for the fences.
