    Just told a young reporter that if something is literally true, it's almost always unnecessary to use the word. In this case I could be wrong. Figuratively.

    I will say this, having previously worked at a Florida paper. The state's public record laws are some of the best in the country. I grew a great deal in my time there as a pure reporter, not so much a writer, but that's because I was on crime and not sports.
