The San Mateo Daily Journal is looking for an experienced sports reporter to cover prep sports. Daily newspaper experience required. The position includes night and weekend work in addition to helping with page design and social media. Photography experience a plus. If interested, send three recent clips, a resume and a letter of interest to Jon Mays, editor, San Mateo Daily Journal, 800 S. Claremont St., San Mateo, CA 94402 or by e-mail at jon@smdailyjournal.com. No phone calls please.

A family-owned, 15Kish daily in the Bay Area? One could certainly do worse, even having to parachute in just as high school sports begin.
