    I just wanted to give an update on the job opening at News Sentinel

    We have hired Brendan Quinn.
    Brendan will cover University of Tennessee men's basketball and will assist in coverage of football.
    Brendan has been sports editor at Nooga.com since August of 2011. He covered UT basketball and football as well as Chattanooga basketball and football.
    He previously worked for an independent newspaper in Philadelphia for two years covering the six college basketball teams in the city. Before that, Brendan was a freelancer for the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News.
    I have tried to reach out to all that appiled. If I missed someone, I apolgize. Easily 250 applications.
    Two more jobs to fill. UT football writer and copy editor.
