  1. $15-20K??!! I seriously wonder where papers get the sack proposing salaries like that.

    Do you like living on food stamps? Is donating plasma an interesting way to spend your weekends? Do you enjoy anxiously awaiting one of our meager paychecks to clear? Then you'll love working for the Shittown Gazette. We're local, local, local...which means you'll take little league gamers and deal with insane, irrational parents when Suzy Shortstop's name is omitted from the writeup. Excellent writing and editing skills a plus, but we're not willing to break our budget for them.

    Look on the bright side: you don't have to worry about paying bills up there because tomorrow never comes. (and thus ends the compulsory Groundhog Day joke).

    "Thrives on its student athletes"? Do they supply the town's electricity with their running?
