    From the paper's website:

The Columbia (Missouri) Daily Tribune Sports department is seeking a full-time sports reporter to cover local athletic events. Writing experience required. Newspaper experience preferred. Applicants must be able to work nights and weekends, must have reliable transportation, good driving record, valid driver license, and proof of insurance. Applicants need experience as a sports writer or designer/editor.

Great staff, great town. The SE, Joe Walljasper, is a nice guy and a hell of a columnist, and the MU beat writers are terrific, especially Dave Matter on football.

When I was coming out of school, they didn't pay all that much for their entry-level reporting jobs, but a rookie could do a LOT worse.

What he said. Joe is one of the good guys.

The paper is also owned by a family in Columbia so you don't have to deal with idiots in Alabama deciding if you'll have a job the next month.

This is quite unclear. Do they just want a resume and a filled out application? Clips too? It never says anywhere.
