Evidently they have begun making cuts; by the end of next week they will trim the list to roughly five candidates.

I'm sorry... Has this position been filled? I've attempted to send an application to all e-mails provided, and they all are sent back.

What is the correct e-mail to apply?

I think they've e-mailed the applicants they want to potentially bring in for an interview.

Federalists, Know-Nothings and Bull Mooses need not apply. :D

They were once blessed with a Preakness-worthy thoroughbred. Sadly, they used him for kids' pony rides.

    That's a metaphor, of course.

For those wondering about this position, I'm not sure what's going on, but it appears the position is closed. I received an email back telling me that the position was unexpectedly closed for the foreseeable future.

They froze it. I'd be interested to hear who pulled the plug on a candidate search halfway through.

I've since gotten a job, but here's the e-mail that JD sent out:

Don't worry, I e-mailed him and took myself out of the running. ;)

Old link, but this explains "who" pulled the plug on the search.
