Sports literature writing contest

    Sorry for the very late posting, although submissions are due January 15, but a friend emailed me this link yesterday concerning an inaugural sports literature writing contest (please excuse the fact that it says the incorrect "First Annual" contest).

    Entry fee is $15 and can be either a story (5,000 words max) or three poems. Top prize is $150 and the winning entry and others will make it to print. Check it out at:

    That reminds me, anyone know what happened to Khartoum? Is he here going by another name or did he just vanish?
