Sports Freelancers for Patch.com in Odenton, MD

Odenton Patch launches on Sept. 15 and is seeking a handful of solid people who can help out with coverage of high school and youth sports in Odenton, Md.

Primary coverage will be of sports at Arundel High School. We have an immediate need for people to cover football, field hockey and volleyball. We pay $75 for a basic gamer with photos, more for features. Strong candidates will be referred to other sites in the region who may also be looking for freelancers. The top freelancers could be considered for a full-time editor position overseeing sports coverage for a dozen Patch sites in Anne Arundel County.

Ideal candidates will have experience in covering live sports for a community or college newspaper. Photography experience is a plus.
