You would think they'd hire the editor first so he or she can hire the writers and desk types.

I regretted for a long time turning down a job at TWT, until the Sports section got jackhammered.

Not sure they'd do it, but I'd hope they put in calls to Mark Hartsell, John Tyler, Harrison Goodman, etc. All good people.

John Taylor and Harrison Goodman have moved on to what I would call more stable places of business.

Have no clue what Hartsell is up to.

Am told Hartsell now works for the Library of Congress.

Mark Zuckerman had a blog post not long ago on where each member of the former TWT Sports staff landed. Might have been a "One year later..." kind of post.

For those who don't know, Zuckerman was the TWT's Nats beat writer. Got shitcanned by the TWT, but kept covering the team via blog, natsinsider.blogspot.com. Best Nats beat writer in town, if you ask me.

    Edit: Here's the link: http://natsinsider.blogspot.com/2011/01/catching-up-with-ex-times.html

Good to see that some landed in better situations.

Does anyone know the timetable for getting the sports section publishing again?
