Sports Editor, The Robesonian, Lumberton NC

The Robesonian, a daily newspaper with a circulation of 13,000 in Southeastern North Carolina, is looking for a sports editor. The successful applicant should be a strong writer and editor, and will manage a staff of one sports writer. Pagination duties are minimal. The coverage is mostly high school and The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, with a rare opportunity to cover ACC football or basketball after the rest of the work is done. This position is for someone willing to embrace the challenges, which are many.
