Weird that two towns two miles apart would have separate newspapers put out by the same company. Probably the same edition with different flags.

Also noticed that the opportunity to see wheels-off basketball is just down the road in Grinnell.

Football_bat, It's not the same edition at all. It's 2 papers - 1 comes out early in the week and the other a few days later. The 2 towns share a school district that the sports editor covers. There are good sports teams and coaches that are great to work with. This was my job until I left to take a job a daily paper. It's a nice community with great people and I was sad to leave.
I would especially recommend this job to anyone new to the profession or fresh out of school. It can also be a job for anyone who likes small towns and not the pressure of a big daily paper. I worked at another paper for 7 years before taking this job.
