    Appears Dickson is half the sports staff in Provo. Seems like a good step up and a decent gig if something opens up down there.

    Worked with Darnell a long, long time ago. Very good people. Good hire.

    Darnell is terrific. ... I'll be curious to see which way Provo goes now. There are some obvious candidates in the area.

    Not quite. Four on sports staff, plus help from the weeklies and stringers who also have to take scoreboard shifts. Good for him, but the Daily Herald is third-fiddle in Provo. Not much breaking news and the Daily Herald's coverage of BYU leaving the MWC was sub-par at best.

    But they did leave the WAC to join the MWC ;D

    I doubt the Daily Herald had the scoop on the MWC's formations as well.
