Our award-winning weekly newspapers in Tama and Toledo, Iowa are in need of a sports editor. Primary duties will be covering sports and shooting pictures for the South Tama School District as well as some regular news beat reporting and pagination of pages. The successful applicant should have some sports reporting background, photography experience, and experience with some type of newspaper pagination software such as Quark. Our newspapers are part of the Ogden Newspapers group and offer an excellent benefit package including health insurance, a 401k and a competitive salary and a chance for advancement. Meskwaki's a good casino. That and you're not too far from Cedar Rapids.

I would think 30K would be decent. Cost of living in that part of Iowa isn't too bad.
