    Description:
    The Columbus Telegram in Columbus, Neb., is seeking a sports editor with page design skills. We focus heavily on local sports in our M-F p.m. and Sunday a.m., 10,000 circulation newspaper. This position will be open in late July.

    The succesful candidate will be a well-organized, self-starter who is broadly versed in all areas of prep sports coverage. On the page-design side, you will need Quark Xpress and Photoshop proficiency. A degree in journalism is desirable but not mandatory. Experience in a similar position could be substituted.

    Columbus, a city of 21,000 people in northeast Nebraska, offers a relaxed and varied lifestyle. The state’s major cities of Lincoln and Omaha are within easy driving distance if a taste of the urban is desired.
