    Actually, here’s the ad that appeared on journalismjobs.com today, for those interested:

    Award-winning, medium-sized Midwest newspaper is seeking a talented sports desk copy editor for our local news operation. The candidate will copy edit staff-produced and wire stories, write headlines, write photo cutlines, edit fact boxes, and paginate for the sports copy desk. Photo toning skills are required, as is the ability to work on sports agate. Shifts require evening and weekend coverage. Experience with page design and copy editing are expected. Must show good judgment and work well under deadline pressure. College degree required. We are an EEOC employer.
