Love sports? Love copy editing? If so, the Midland Reporter-Telegram, a Hearst Corp. daily newspaper, has the perfect job for you. We're looking for a sports-focused copy editor who has a deep knowledge of all things athletics, is proficient at editing copy, can write eye-catching headlines and can lay out our Sports section.

The position requires knowledge of Associated Press style and proficiency in InDesign or QuarkXPress. A degree in journalism, English or communications is preferred. Previous experience working for a newspaper or in sports information are pluses.

Recent and soon-to-be college graduates are encouraged to apply.
