Major metropolitan daily is looking for a high-impact sports copy editor/designer, with a minimum of 3-5 years experience with a daily newspaper. To qualify, candidates must be equally proficient in writing eye-catching headlines, editing copy and designing dynamic pages. Proficiency in Photoshop and Indesign, Quark or similar design program is also essential. Salary commensurate with experience.

Please send resume and cover letter to sportsrecruit@newsjobs.biz.

    This publication is an EOE.

I don't suppose you're willing to tell us which major metropolitan daily is hiring?

Wonder if "nyp" is a red herring or if IJAG's heart just skipped a beat.

It had better be second-post information from the OP or this thread goes away.

I'm aware of whois, thanks. However, we frown on anonymous job postings.

Gotcha. Sorry, didn't mean to start anything (got a loooong way to go before I lose that "newbie" tag, I guess!)

The guy who registered Newsjobs.biz also is a contact for a painting company in New Jersey. So are you really hiring painters?

When I type in "www.newsjobs.biz," I get an error message that basically says the website doesn't exist ...

So is this a "major metropolitan daily" that has yet to launch? Or does this have something to do with Dow Jones?
