Sports copy editor/designer in Quincy, IL

The Quincy (Ill.) Herald-Whig, an award-winning seven-day newspaper, is seeking an experienced sports copy editor/page designer for our universal desk.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of being involved in all operations of our multi-platform desk — editing local copy, doing daily page design, Web editing and taking a role in our social media sites. Good editing and headline writing skills are a must. Candidates must have experience in page design, and knowledge of InDesign is a plus.

Quincy is a beautiful, affordable community of 40,000 on the banks of the Mississippi River in West-Central Illinois.
