I've heard about the one at the MGM Grand being pretty awesome, but I like the one at Mandalay Bay.

(That's really what I originally thought the thread topic was. No lie.)

I second Heaven is a Playground and Three Bricks. I cannot believe I forgot those two. Just too much on my mind this morning I guess.

48 Minutes by Terry Pluto and Bob Ryan. I read that when I was in junior high and just loved it for the behind-the-scene details it provides.

Nine Innings by Daniel Okrent is another of my personal favorites, for much the same reason as I liked 48 Minutes.

Creating an Empire: ESPN: The no hods barred story of power, ego, money and vision that transformed a culture (Stuart Evey)
Opening Day: The Story of Jackie Robinson's First Season (Jonathan Eig)
No Time Outs (Christopher J. Walsh)

I'll also add a vote for Game of Shadows.

And I picked up the ESPN book at The Dollar Tree, about 97 percent off the Amazon.com price.

I second both Instant Replay and Three Bricks Shy, I read each one about once a year.
