I feel sorry for AJ McCarron's girlfriend -- she has no chance:

 

Hell of a player but, damn, he never did learn to not skate through the middle of te ice with his head down, especially with Stevens on the ice. I remember watching that series and thinking, "OK, when's Stevens going to lay him out."

 

Saw him play live a couple of times in junior with the Oshawa Generals. Literally a man against boys, as dominant a player as I ever saw in the OHL.

 

As it turns out, probably to his detriment, grew up without the respect that there are others on the ice that can hurt you.

 

True enough, NHL was a little different then than it is now too. Brett Lindros was another monster in the O, not at his brother's talent level, but his career ended due to concussions too.

 

I should have been more specific. I meant Brett Lindros.
